The Atlanta Fed's 2012 annual report is now available. Titled Turning Points: 7 Critical Conversations about the Economy in 2012, the online report takes a retrospective look at the interaction between monetary policy and the economy.

These conversations are "a starting point from which readers can explore in greater depth key turning points that occurred in 2012 and the ways in which monetary policy worked to address the challenges that remained," said Atlanta Fed President and CEO Dennis Lockhart in his opening letter.
The discussion continues with a series of video interviews throughout the report. Other dynamic features include interactive graphs and pop-up definitions of important terms.
In addition to the seven critical conversations, the report also includes sections on southeastern banks, mobile payments, and some of the Bank's key milestones from the previous year.Read the entire report online.
