Location: The Birmingham Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta
Are you prepared for an emergency? Katrina's Classroom is a DVD and lesson plan package from the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta designed to teach students and parents the importance of being prepared and how to build a successful financial future. Using the perspective of teenagers, students will examine the importance of banking, savings, and budgeting. Three lesson plans are tied to each video segment, which helps expand and reinforce crucial personal finance content.
A complimentary lunch and free materials will be provided. Space is limited. This year we are collecting from three to five canned goods per workshop for the United Way Community Food Bank. Your generosity is greatly appreciated!
