Will Lambe is the senior community and economic development adviser, specializing in community development finance, at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. He specializes in economic and community development in rural or underserved communities. Prior to joining the Atlanta Fed, Lambe was director of the Community and Economic Development Program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Government. He has published numerous articles and a book, Small Towns, Big Ideas: Case Studies in Small Town Community Economic Development. He cofounded the university-based Development Finance Initiative, which provides specialized technical assistance to local governments aiming to attract private investment for transformative development projects. Before joining the School of Government, he worked with the Corporation for Enterprise Development (CFED) on a range of economic development research and policy projects. Lambe holds a BA from the University of Colorado at Boulder and a MPP from Duke University's Sanford School of Public Policy.
