This workshop explores the ways teachers can integrate the instruction of economics into civics and government classrooms. The workshop includes demonstrations of active-learning lessons. Participants will receive free teaching resources.

The Howard Avenue Park and Ride is a self-park garage and shuttle service operating near the Bank. The shuttle leaves from the lot at 922/932 Howard, next to WDSU Channel 6, and makes a stop at St. Charles and Poydras, just outside the Bank. The shuttle runs every 6 minutes between 6 a.m. and 9:30 a.m., and 4 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. The shuttle driver is also on call between 9:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. at 504-307-5726.
Parking costs $4 per day (exact change required). Prior to arriving at the garage, call 504-307-5726 and ask for the gate access code (this is a four-digit number that changes monthly).
