The Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta invites you to a new one-day workshop for high school business education and economics teachers. This interactive session will encourage collaboration in the areas of personal finance and money management. The session will feature hands-on, standards-aligned lessons and activities as well as many free online resources available for teachers and their students. Each participant will receive a bag of print material samples that they can order in free class sets. Participants will also receive a CD of electronic resources including lesson plans and electronic whiteboard files. If possible, teachers should bring their laptops or tablets to explore online course offerings from the Federal Reserve. There is no cost for this workshop, but registration is required.
The workshop includes breakfast and lunch at no cost. Teachers are responsible for their own travel expenses.Registration deadline: Tuesday, February 25, 2014
