Figuring out the Finance: Teaching Alabama's New Career Preparedness Course

We are excited to offer a one-day workshop for teachers that focuses on the financial aspects of Alabama's new Career Preparedness course. Active learning lessons will be paired with the course standards for easy classroom implementation. Concepts include academic planning and career development, finances and budget management, banking and financial institutions, saving and investing, credit and debt, and risk management.

The workshop includes breakfast, lunch, and all classroom materials at no cost. Space is limited and preregistration is required. You must be scheduled to teach this course to attend.
