U.S. Industry & Technology: Tour the Alabama Honda Manufacturing Facility and Explore Lessons in U.S. History, Economics, and Business

Location: Honda Manufacturing of Alabama, LLC, 1800 Honda Dr., Lincoln, AL 35096

This workshop combines a tour of the Honda manufacturing facility with several engaging social studies and business lessons. After a Honda representative discusses the power of Honda in promoting Alabama's economy, we will jump into several activity-based lessons that explore such topics as technology, trade, regulation, the Industrial Revolution, productivity, and more. A tour of the facility follows. All materials and lunch will be provided.

Honda's dress code: Sandals and open-heeled shoes are NOT allowed. Long pants MUST be worn. No shorts or skirts are allowed.

The lesson plans and lunch are provided at no cost. Space is limited.
