Come explore new lessons and resources to teach civics and economics standards on monetary and fiscal policy. From open market operations and interest rates to the effects of taxes and spending, this workshop will feature interactive lessons and role-play exercises to help teach the tools and goals of monetary and fiscal policy, their effects on economic conditions, and who is really in charge of the economy.
Lunch will be provided. There is no charge for the workshop, but registration is required as space is limited. Registration will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
