Learn how clips from the movie Confessions of a Shopaholic can be used to teach students about credit cards, debt, credit reports and scores, opportunity costs and financial responsibility. Attendees will participate in lessons and activities to meet standards in economics and personal finance, as well as receive numerous lesson plans, materials, and a copy of the movie. Dinner and all materials are included in the workshop.
There is no charge for this program, but registration is required as space is limited. Registration deadline is Tuesday, July 22, 2014.
