Speakers Bureau

The Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta speakers bureau provides speakers on a variety of topics including banking, payments, and economics. Colleges and professional or civic organizations with 40 or more members can request speakers. The Atlanta Fed speakers bureau evaluates speech requests according to the the forum, subject matter, and the availability of our speakers. Please note that our speakers cannot discuss macroeconomic topics from one week before through the Friday after a Federal Open Market Committee meeting. Other restrictions may apply.

Typical speech topics include:

  • purposes and functions of the Federal Reserve System,
  • banking issues,
  • economic conditions, and
  • financial payments.

Generally, we fulfill requests from civic and other organizations with broad membership bases. Providing as much lead time as possible increases chances that the request can be accomodated.
