Business Inflation Expectations Relatively Unchanged
Inflation expectations of businesses were relatively unchanged at 2 percent in May, according to the Atlanta Fed's monthly business inflation expectations (BIE) survey. However, nearly two-thirds of respondents expect labor costs to put moderate to strong upward pressure on prices over the next 12 months.

According to the Atlanta Fed's monthly business inflation expectations (BIE) survey, firms expect stronger unit sales level growth over the next 12 months. Firms also anticipate 2.1 percent inflation over the coming year.

March Business Inflation Expectations Unchanged
The Atlanta Fed's monthly business inflation expectations (BIE) survey reports that firms anticipate 1.9 percent inflation over the next 12 months. While unit sales levels are below normal for all firms, those of small firms, in particular, continue to decline compared to "normal" times.

Business Inflation Expectations Dip in January
According to the Atlanta Fed's monthly business inflation expectations (BIE) survey, firms anticipate 1.8 percent inflation over the next 12 months. Firms also expect their unit costs to increase 3 percent per year over the next five to 10 years.
