Plan to Attend Microfinance Session for Community Development Financial Institutions

Information on best practices in the field of microfinance, tools for determining appropriate strategies to scale microfinance operations, and advanced technical assistance opportunities will be the focus of a training session February 25-26, 2013. The Atlanta Fed, in partnership with the Community Development Financial Institutions Fund (CDFI Fund), will host the training in Atlanta. This session is an important component of the CDFI Fund's capacity-building initiative training series and is one of three workshops that will take place around the country.

CDFIs involved in microfinance or small-dollar lending are invited to participate in this session, particularly those located in the Southeast. The training will be led by Opportunity Finance Network. The training is free, but space is limited and advance registration is required. There is room for 30 participants, and a maximum of two representatives from an organization may attend.

For information about this training, please contact the Atlanta Fed's Janet Hamer at 904-632-3588 or Janet.Hamer@atl.frb.org.
