Learn about Innovative Vacant Foreclosure Strategies

The Cleveland Fed will live stream its one-day event, "Getting Back in Gear: Better Ways to Move Stalled and Vacant Foreclosures Forward," on March 11. National and regional experts will share their perspectives on vacant property challenges and highlight promising approaches. The seminar will take place in Cleveland at 8:30 a.m. ET.

The event will examine the following issues:

  • The challenges facing servicers
  • Local responses and best practices
  • The role of federal oversight and compliance
  • Judicial practices that are proving useful to address these issues.

Municipal leaders, lenders and servicers, community development practitioners, foreclosure attorneys and judges, regulators, housing researchers, and real estate professionals are encouraged to participate in this seminar. Learn more at the Cleveland Fed site.
