  • Methodology
  • This poll was conducted September 2–10, 2014, and reflects activity during August 2014. Fifty-seven business contacts across the Sixth District participated in the poll: 19 homebuilders and 38 residential brokers.
  • The housing poll's diffusion indexes are calculated as the percentage of total respondents reporting increases minus the percentage reporting declines. Positive values in the index tend to indicate increased activity, while negative values tend to indicate decreased activity.
