The pace of decline in Alabama's tax revenue collections grew in June; total revenues were 4.2 percent below year-earlier levels.

In June, Florida revenues were up 4.0 percent, posting a third monthly year-over-year gain. Florida continued to be the only state in the region with positive year-over-year tax revenue growth.

The pace of decline in Georgia's total tax revenues continued to soften in June. The state collected 1.9 percent less tax revenues than in June 2009.

Louisiana tax revenues, notorious for large fluctuations, were down 21.7 percent from June 2009 levels. This decline was the largest year-over-year loss in the Sixth District.
