State Government Finances - September 2010

The Alabama Department of Revenue reported that even though personal income and sales tax collections were up year over year, total collections declined 4.4 percent from a year earlier.

According to data from Florida's Department of Revenue, August was the fifth consecutive month of year-over-year increases in total tax revenues for the state.
