Annual Review recaps work of Americas Center in 2010

The 2010 Annual Review highlights the work of the Americas Center, an initiative of the Atlanta Fed launched six years ago.

The publication, which is available in English, Portuguese, and Spanish, details the Americas Center's major accomplishments in 2010, many of which were achieved through collaboration with colleagues from other institutions. Among other initiatives and programs, the Annual Review highlights efforts to:

• Improve service and reduce costs in the payment processing arena
• Expand access to consumer banking products and services, financial education, and community outreach programs
• Work with partners to build  the effectiveness of U.S. and region-wide banking supervision
• Better understand the economic and financial forces driving change in the Americas
