President Bostic spent time in eastern Alabama, where he toured an Opportunity Zone project in Heflin, visited a workforce development program in St. Clair County, had lunch with students at Jacksonville State University, met with local government, business and community leaders, and toured the Anniston Army Depot. During his day in Birmingham he also spoke to students at Miles College held a roundtable to discuss workforce dynamics and innovation as instruments to expand access to effective health care.
