BROWNFIELDS 2002 CONFERENCE INVESTING IN THE FUTURE

November 13 - 15, 2002
Charlotte Convention Center

Charlotte, North Carolina

Don't miss this opportunity to hear first hand about the new Brownfields Legislation.

The Brownfields 2002 Conference — Investing in the Future — will introduce a new and enlarged Brownfields program inspired by federal legislation signed on January 11, 2002. The Conference will be November 13-15, 2002 in Charlotte, North Carolina at the Charlotte Convention Center. The U.S. EPA, the Engineers’ Society of Western Pennsylvania, and the International City/County Management Association are pleased to invite participants to one of the first opportunities to learn about the expanded promises and challenges presented by the new Brownfields law and the policies developed to promote Brownfields nationwide.

The Brownfields 2002 Conference will include over 75 panel discussions on implementation of the new law; as well as best practices developed to enhance brownfields redevelopment. These discussions will cover legal liability, new state, local and tribal programs, financing, insurance, community involvement, land use and conservation, remediation research and technology, real estate transactions, and new industrial, residential and commercial development. Every level and every aspect of Brownfields redevelopment will be covered — from the newest project to successfully completed projects.
