Plan to Attend Premier Conference on Economic Development

Economic opportunity doesn't happen in a vacuum: it takes a coordinated approach to housing, education, public safety, health care, transportation, and jobs. Join over 1,000 public, nonprofit, and private sector leaders on February 7–10 in Los Angeles at the 2016 National Interagency Community Reinvestment ConferenceOff-site link to discuss how these pathways to opportunity can create vibrant neighborhoods for all Americans.

The program will feature Community Reinvestment Act examination training and emerging ideas and best practices in community development, with particular attention to how investments in housing, education, health, transportation, and jobs can intersect to create vibrant neighborhoods and opportunity for all. The conference agenda also includes the option to take tours of Los Angeles that explore the opportunities and challenges of a fast-changing and revitalizing city.

Keynote speakers will include Risa Lavizzo-Mourey, president and CEO of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation; Thomas J. Curry, U.S. comptroller of the currency; Amias M. Gerety, acting assistant secretary for financial institutions at the U.S. Department of the Treasury; Martin J. Gruenberg, chairman of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation; and John C. Williams, president and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco.
