Katrina’s Classroom: Financial Lessons from a Hurricane
A four-chapter, DVD-based curriculum that teaches students about financial responsibilities such as budgeting, banking, savings, and the wise use of credit.

Lesson 1: Katrina Strikes
A lesson that helps students to identify the differences among wants, needs, and goals and to recognize the need for financial preparedness in the face of a disaster. This is the first lesson of the Katrina’s Classroom curriculum.

Building Wealth
A personal finance education resource that can be used individually or in the classroom to help young people develop a plan for building personal wealth. It presents an overview of personal wealth-building strategies that include setting financial goals, budgeting, saving and investing, managing debt, and understanding credit reports and credit scores.

Money Logic
A lesson plan in the Money Circle curriculum, and the first lesson in the “Money Management” section. The goal of the lesson is to understand how economic wealth is achieved and to exercise decision-making principles in financial planning and budgeting.
