22nd Annual Financial Markets Conference - Managing Global Financial Risks: Shifting Sands and Shock Waves - May 7–9, 2017
OMNI Hotel & Conference Center
Amelia Island, Florida
Begins May 7 at 6 p.m. EST
Adjourns May 9 at 1:30 p.m. EST
Atlanta Fed Center for Financial Innovation and Stability (CenFIS)
Since the crisis, governments and central banks have focused on two goals: bolstering aggregate demand and tightening prudential regulation. Over time, these policies have shifted the sands on which financial markets and institutions operate. Some of these policies are likely also contributing to both realized and potential shock waves to the financial system. This conference will consider the underlying causes of the shifting sands and occasional shock waves. The conference will also explore how financial institutions and their supervisors should manage these risks.
Who Should Attend
Invited guests are central bank officials and senior leaders of global investment firms, regulatory and financial institutions, and academia.
Conference is by invitation only, and registration is $650.
