We are welcoming Raphael Bostic as he takes his position among the nation's monetary policymakers. New Orleans Branch regional executive Adrienne Slack will moderate a discussion about President Bostic's interests and views on the economy. A Harvard- and Stanford-educated economist, President Bostic was the Judith and John Bedrosian Chair in Governance and the Public Enterprise at the Sol Price School of Public Policy at the University of Southern California (USC). He was assistant secretary for policy development and research at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development from 2009 to 2012. From 1995 to 2001, he served as a research economist with the Federal Reserve Board of Governors, and in 2001 he became a professor at USC.
