The sixth biennial Reinventing Older Communities conference was sponsored by the Philadelphia Fed. The conference explored how communities can grow and strengthen their economies by creating opportunities for all residents.
Speakers included Raj Chetty, William Henry Bloomberg Professor of Economics, Harvard University; Angela Glover Blackwell, founder and CEO of PolicyLink; Mark Zandi, chief economist, Moody’s Analytics; and others.
Community developers, advocates, and planners, government leaders, bankers, researchers, foundation representatives, business leaders, and students were encouraged to attend.
