Annita Moore Promoted to Assistant Branch Manager at Nashville Branch

Annita Moore has been promoted to assistant branch manager at the Nashville Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, according to Jack Guynn, president and chief executive officer of the Atlanta Fed.
As assistant vice president and assistant branch manager, Moore will be responsible for all Nashville Branch operations and report to Mel Purcell, senior vice president and branch manager. Moore began her career with the Atlanta Fed in 1969. She served in managerial positions in the accounting and payment services department and was financial services director prior to being named assistant vice president in 1997.
Moore has served as an American Institute of Banking board member and actively participated in other social and civic organizations. She attended the University of Tennessee and Tennessee State University. In addition, she has participated in the executive development program at the University of Tennessee and has attended the Tennessee Young Bankers School at Vanderbilt University.
The Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta serves the Sixth Federal Reserve District, which encompasses Alabama, Florida, Georgia and sections of Louisiana, Mississippi and Tennessee. As part of the nation’s central banking system, the Atlanta Fed participates in setting national monetary policy, supervises numerous commercial banks and provides a variety of financial services to depository institutions and the U.S. government.
