Atlanta Fed Employees Receive Presidential AwardFor release Jan. 24, 1996
Jack Guynn, president and chief executive officer of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, has presented the 1995 President's Award for Excellence to Saidee Jackson, Ofelia Siegel, and Pat Ward for their exceptional contributions to the Bank.
Saidee Jackson, check collection section manager, Atlanta Branch, is a native of Bessemer, Alabama, and has been with the Bank 21 years. Ofelia Siegel, checks technical specialist, Miami Branch, is a native of Miami, Florida, and has been with the Bank 24 years. Pat Ward, audit coordinator, Jacksonville Branch, is a native of Detroit, Michigan, and has been with the Bank 23 years.
The President's Award is given to employees in the Sixth Federal Reserve District who have distinguished themselves by outstanding performance, brought recognition to the Bank, or otherwise exemplified the Bank's corporate philosophy and core values of integrity, quality service, and effectiveness.
The Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta serves the Sixth Federal Reserve District, which encompasses Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and parts of Louisiana, Mississippi, and Tennessee. As part of the nation's central banking system, the Atlanta Fed takes part in setting national monetary policy, supervises numerous commercial banks, and provides a variety of financial services to depository institutions and the U.S. government.
