Atlanta Fed Names Graham Assistant Vice President at Miami Branch

Photo of Paul GrahamPaul Graham has been named assistant vice president of at the Miami Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, announced Dennis Lockhart, president and chief executive officer. Graham assumes responsibility for the Miami Branch's cash services, law enforcement, facilities and information technology.

Graham began his career with the Atlanta Fed's Jacksonville Branch in 1979. He served in positions of increasing responsibility and in 1985 was promoted to payment services supervisor. In 1988, Graham became payment services manager responsible for all activities related to night shift check processing. In 1997 he was promoted to financial services director responsible for the check adjustments department and business development. In 2002, Graham was promoted to assistant vice president with direct responsibility for all paper and electronic check clearing services offered by the Jacksonville Branch, serving in that position until December 2008, when the Jacksonville Branch consolidated its check operations into the Atlanta office.

Graham completed The Florida School of Banking program at The University of Florida in 1991. In 2004, he attended the High Potentials Leadership Program at the Harvard Business School and the Executive Management Program at the Stanford Business School.

The Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta serves the Sixth Federal Reserve District, which encompasses Alabama, Florida, Georgia and sections of Louisiana, Mississippi and Tennessee. As part of the nation's central banking system, the Atlanta Fed participates in setting national monetary policy, supervises numerous commercial banks and provides a variety of financial services to depository institutions and the U.S. government.
