Zoe Xie is a research economist and assistant adviser on the macroeconomics and monetary policy team in the research department at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. Her major field of research is macroeconomics with particular interests in labor markets and public finance.
Prior to joining the Bank in 2016, she worked as a research analyst at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis and as an instructor at the University of Minnesota while pursuing graduate degrees.
Dr. Xie received her doctoral and master's degrees from the University of Minnesota, and a bachelor of arts degree in economics and mathematics from Williams College in Massachusetts.
