Christy Thomas is the chief financial officer of BLOX in Birmingham, Alabama. BLOX is reinventing how healthcare buildings are designed, manufactured, and constructed. It provides the ability to scale to a diverse client base through primary care clinics, inpatient rehabilitation facilities, additional patient rooms, and free-standing emergency centers across the United States.

Ms. Thomas recently served as the chief financial officer and executive vice president of administration for Milo's Tea Company Inc., a family-owned business headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama. Milo's is a manufacturer and distributer of consumer beverages sold in more than 35,000 retail locations in 45 states, with more than $400 million in annual revenue. Before this position, she served as vice president of finance and global controller for North Highland, a global consulting firm with more than $400 million in revenue.

Earlier in her career, Ms. Thomas served as vice president of finance at Mohawk Industries, in strategic planning and analysis for the Home Depot, and as vice president of finance and accounting at Equifax.

Ms. Thomas is a member of the board of directors of the Birmingham Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, the Momentum Leadership Board in Birmingham, and the Greater Birmingham Humane Society. She is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the Georgia Society of CPAs, and the Financial Executives Institute.

Ms. Thomas earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and an MBA in taxation at Georgia State University.
