Michelle Lewis serves as chief financial officer of AAA Cooper Transportation and has served in this position since 2019. Through AAA Cooper's acquisition of subsidiary Midwest Motor Express, she has served as CFO of Midwest Motor Express since 2022.
AAA Cooper Transportation, an independent subsidiary of Knight-Swift Transportation Holdings, is an asset-based multiregional transportation solutions provider with facilities in the Southeast, Southwest, Midwest, and Northwest. The company, including added subsidiaries, exceeds $1 billion in annual revenue.
Prior to her current role, Ms. Lewis served as vice president of finance from 2016 until 2019 and director of administration from 2007 until 2016.
Ms. Lewis is a member of the board of directors of the Birmingham Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. She is the former chair of the Transportation Revenue Management Group (TRMG) and the National Motor Carrier Group of TRMG. She serves on the board of directors of the Business Council of Alabama and is immediate past chair of the Dothan Chamber of Commerce board of directors. She has served on the board of directors of the Wiregrass United Way and House of Ruth.
She earned her BS degree in business administration and accounting from Troy University and is a certified public accountant.
