Paul Mohnen is a research economist and assistant adviser in the Research Department of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, where he contributes to the Advancing Careers initiative. His research focuses on issues related to the labor market, aging, and economic mobility.
Prior to joining the Bank in 2023, Dr. Mohnen was a senior fellow at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a postdoctoral research fellow at the Population Studies Center at the University of Michigan. He completed his PhD in economics at Northwestern University and his master's and bachelor's degrees in econometrics and operations research at Maastricht University.
